Amethyst could hardly believe any of this, Sapphire had made them walk all the way to Rustboro, and that had taken nearly TWO days. She had been forced to return Sylveon to his pokeball at some point because the fox had become very irritated (more than likely because he had never been left hanging like that.) Lucario stood at her side and looked concerned, one of his paws lingering over her shoulder. “Come on. The Gym should still be open. You can get your match over with. A gym battle seemed like an impossible trial right now. ‘’Not what? Good enough? Excuse me for saying Miss, but you will never know your abilities unless you try them, the only way to get better at something is to try it correct?’ Amethyst looked at the canine for a good moment before cracking a small smile. “You’re actually really good at peptalks you know that?” The pokemon looked surprised for a moment before glancing away, seeming a bit embarrassed. The girl stood then, a larger smile covering her face before she leaned close to the pokemon’s face to lay a small kiss on his cheek. The action startled him and his eyes snapped back to her. “Well, I guess we should get going then. Take out some gym leader’s pokemon!” Lucario gave her a nod and stood as well.

Finding the gym wasn’t exactly hard- It normally wasn’t, most towns had an abundance of pathways and signs that led to the gyms so it never was to hard. Oh god she hadn’t realized that the Gym leader was going to be Cute. He didn’t look to worse for the wear and Amethyst nodded. “Lets get into this! No more distractions!” Amethyst Swung her hand forward dramatically, smirking as Lucario shot forward. “Bone Rush!” She called keeping her eyes focused on the battle in front of her and not the Trainer at the other end of the field.The attack connected and send the opposing pokemon sliding back, The lavender haired girl bounced from one foot to another in glee, pumping one fist into the air. “Yes! Now let’s follow that up with Aura Sphere!” The girl watched in anticipation for a good moment as the Nosepass Launched another attack, Lucario Managed to dodge while he charged the attack. A loud cheer Came from Amethyst as the attack hit dead on and the other pokemon collapsed. There was another tense moment before the referee called it. “The Challenger is the winner!” “Ah! Yes!” Amethyst danced around and launched herself at Lucario hugging the pokemon tightly. “We did it!” The pokemon gave her a tentative smile and let his paws rest against her. Sylveon squirmed under the pressure until a low growl slipped from Absol. Sapphire turned her attention to Amethyst for a moment then, The woman was watching them out of the corner of her eye.
